I would recommend you to join some course that covers that following Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash etc; In addition you must all learn some basic HTML, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) etc; These all will make you proficient in web designing. Do some projects if possible live projects and then approach for jobs. You are not having a regular degree that may affect your career to certain extent. So, try to do some Corres degree programs. As far as SALARY is concerned if purely depends upon the company. If you get in top level MNC's then a fresher is bound to get around 15k to 20k.
